Volunteers needed for 21st annual ball planning committee

The Book Lovers Ball planning committee needs you!

The committee is seeking a few volunteers to help plan and execute the annual fund raiser to benefit the Aurora Free Library.

The 21st annual Book Lovers Ball is slated for Friday, October 3 at Treleaven Winery in King Ferry, NY. The event includes a silent auction of more than 200 donated goods and services, live music, dinner and local wines and beer. All funds raised go to the library for community programing and building maintenance.

Volunteers coordinate the event, seek auction donations and sponsors, set up the auction, and more. Volunteers meet seasonally, with weekly meetings at the ball date gets nearer.
