October 3rd was a perfect night for the Twenty-first Book Lovers’ Ball at Treleaven Winery! A warm, sunny day segued into a beautiful fall evening. The tables were adorned with seasonal gourds and exquisite dahlias. The open bar even featured bubbly, and the dinner was a seasonal feast for the eyes and the palate.
We welcomed a new band, Brass Inc., which kept the dance floor filled with their infectious dance tunes. And the silent auction was hands down the best we’ve ever presented.
On Oct. 5th, we were pleased to feature the talk at the Morgan Opera House by our Book Lovers’ Ball Book Club author, Sheila Myers, who spoke about writing her recent book, “The Truth of Who You Are.”
